Chapungu Sculpture Park

Chapungu Sculpture Park (Msasa Park, Harare) — located just southeast of downtown Harare, this park promotes the works of various local stone sculptors. Founded in 1970 by art promoter Roy Guthrie, stone sculptures made by Zimbabwean artists, of varying sizes, have gradually earned a following worldwide. In recent times, tours of such artwork have been conducted in America, UK, South Africa and elsewhere. Artists such as Dominic Benhura, Locardia Ndandarika, and Taylor Nkomo, have been those whose works were showcased here (and on tours overseas). Art collectors can see the following website for further details on these artists: www.chapungusculpturepark.com
